Dulunya, prodi ini merupakan peminatan di prodi Teknik Pertanian, lalu kini menjadi prodi tersendiri. Prodi ini menawarkan pembelajaran berkualitas yang sudah terjamin dengan akreditasi Unggul dari LAM-Teknik serta akreditasi internasional dari ASIIN dan EUR-ACE.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Terdapat dua macam kelas yang ditawarkan, yaitu S1 Teknik Bioproses Reguler dan S1 IUP Bioprocess Engineering. Pada 2026, UB menyediakan total kuota 125 mahasiswa untuk prodi ini dengan daya tampung jalur SNBP sebanyak 25 mahasiswa, SNBT sebanyak 38 mahasiswa, dan SMUB sebanyak 62 mahasiswa. SMUB sendiri masih terbagi lagi menjadi beberapa jalur berikut.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1. Prestasi<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jalur ini menggunakan prestasi akademik\/non akademik sebagai komponen penilaian utama dan nilai rapor kelas 10-12 sebagai komponen pendukung. Untuk mendaftar jalur ini, peserta harus merogoh kocek sebesar Rp 500 ribu (tahun 2026).<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2. Nilai Rapor<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Berbeda dengan jalur sebelumnya, jalur ini menggunakan nilai rapor kelas 10-12 sebagai komponen penilaian utama beserta prestasi akademik\/non akademik siswa. Nilai yang digunakan adalah nilai pengetahuan seluruh mata pelajaran. Sama dengan jalur prestasi, jalur ini juga mematok biaya pendaftaran sebesar Rp 500 ribu.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3. Nilai UTBK<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hasil UTBK tidak hanya bisa digunakan untuk mendaftar jalur SNBT, tetapi juga jalur mandiri di UB. Selain nilai UTBK, peserta juga perlu mengumpulkan nilai rapor (pengetahuan) dan prestasi akademik\/non akademik.
